In order to change the world we have to work together… and there happens to be a good business opportunity in it as well. 10×10 – 10 regions of the world bringing 10 companies from each region to expose, connect, and create opportunities among these regions. By working with each others we will take these 100 companies to solve pernicious social issues, but do so with businesses. The city of Austin which has been called “the Social Innovation Capital of the World” is happy to host this conversation. When people go to the west coast if they’re concerned with scaling B2C ventures, and the east coast if they are financial startups… but come to Austin if their concern is solving an underlying social issue. … Solving human need is always a good business opportunity. Together we will take on this issue, this issue, and this issue. Together this group of organizations are taking on issues and using business models to solve each one of these issues.
